Women's Day: Healing Ourselves and Our Future Through Relationship

A Free Online Event hosted by the MammAlive Foundation

with Sat Dharam Kaur ND, Priya Duggal ND, Saimah Khan ND, and Janeen Tang

Date: Friday, March 6, 2026 | Time: 2:00-3:00 PM ET (Toronto time zone)

Location: Online via Zoom

Join us for a Women’s Day gathering exploring the power of relationship in shaping our health, our communities, and future generations.

Together, we will delve into how shared mothering exists across species, how sisterhood can help repair unmet needs from childhood, and how connection directly impacts our biology through oxytocin, nervous system regulation, and breast health.

This gathering weaves biology, culture, and lived experience to remind us that social connection is foundational to women’s well-being.

Presentations include:
  • Allo-Mothering
    Sat Dharam Kaur ND
Exploring how other species practice shared mothering—and what this teaches us about cooperation, collective care, and the cultural shifts needed for women and future generations to thrive.
  • Sisterhood as a Relational Container
    Priya Duggal ND
How women’s community can help meet the unmet needs of childhood—offering repair, belonging, and emotional nourishment beyond what we may or may not have received from our mothers.
  • Relational Healing & Oxytocin
    Saimah Khan ND
Understanding the biology of connection—how healthy relationships regulate the nervous system, increase oxytocin, and support our health.
  • Social Fitness & Breast Health
    Janeen Tang
Why loneliness has a measurable impact on health—up to 11 times more harmful than smoking—and how building social fitness protects long-term vitality.

This gathering is designed for women of all ages—whether you seek to reconnect with your body, enhance your well-being, or join a supportive circle dedicated to self-care and healing.
